As nearly all of the wine in the UK is sold through the large retailers I thought it would be useful to have a comprehensive list of recommendations for each of them. I attend most of the big press tastings and try to keep the lists as up to date as possible, I will also try to highlight offers as they come along. Please bear in mind not all of the wines I list are available in all of the stores, but the increasing on-line market means that most of them are available to order.
I grade each of the wines out of 100 and this mark takes account of cost as well as quality, it's very rare that I grade wines above 90, these are exceptional wines at the price.
